Asynchronous and synchronous learning have advantages and disadvantages. Asynchronous seems to be ever evolving. Variety is the spice of learning. I will use all tools at my disposal.

Online learning is important and useful. I can figure it out as I go.

To be a real person and be professional. Occasionally think outside the box. Be a part of the team.

I been around long enough to have developed a keen sense of intuition. I don't always follow it, but I should because it is almost always right. Treating others the way I like to be treated is a much the same. 

I'm passionate about aircraft maintenance, learning new things. Being good at whatever I choose to do. I was an excellent student. Would like to think I still am. I love it even when I hate it when it comes to aircraft. That said, at the end of the day we need to be practicing what we are preaching. These courses were design for us non instructor types to learn some important aspects of being an instructor. Be organized, both in administration and education. Be patient, understanding, and never lose your cool.

Depending on the specific information we seek, there is a variety of tools at our disposal to measure how effective our instruction is by the types of questioning methods we use.

Asking good questions to the appropriate learning level using the good characteristics is important. Asking bad questions is harmful. I will strive to ask good questions.

I learned that technology in education is more prevalent than ever before. I learned related unfamiliar learning terms, but they're not too complicated. I will learn and use whatever technology is available to add variety in learning. I will also be attuned to younger students reduced attention spans. 

Plan impactful 20-25min lessons that keep students excited, that reinforce their motivation by creating a believable lesson, a lesson that is interesting, a lesson that makes them want to come back. I will use opening and closing activities as suggested. I will establish realistic expectations and be understanding of student perspectives. I will also be motivated and energetic towards the subject, which should help students be the same.
