In this module I learned 15 cues a facilitator can use when engaging with students. I also liked the section about class environment rather than class rules.

In this module I learned the difference between asynchronous and synchronous. I learned the four different learning style are important when planning discussions.

I learned that online teaching can be just as effective as in person teaching if you learn to use online course tools effectively also making yourself known and being engaging online is very important for your students to feel like they are really getting to know you as if it were in person.  

This module informed me of why modules are important and effective for student learning. 

In this module I learned about what it means to be a facilitator and how that differs from the being knowledgeable as a Scholar in your particular field. 

breaking down lectures into 10-15 block increment is helpful for keeping class engaged. 

This module encouraged me to take my time on the first time to set the environment and course expectations. The first day can be cause be filled with nervousness and anxiousness for students. 

I learned that arriving before class time is a great way to be more prepared, it allows for a time to read the room and engage with the students as they are coming in, and it set the tone of professionalism. 

I learned that as an instructor we are a role model, how we present ourselves to the students is important because it set the tone for what to expect. 

This module was helpful for me as a new instructor to be more prepared to help student with learning abilities and help guide them on the path towards success.
