This lesson reminded us that goals and objectives are the foundation on which your teaching is built. 

I have been reminded that as an instructor, we play a pivotal role in the encouragement and motivation process. 

I learned that decoding happens when learners take information they have received and break it down into bits of content that they can understand and prepare for storage in their memory. 

In this lesson I learned that a skill performed daily for 30 days becomes a habit.  

I learned that every individual possesses a completely unique "intelligence profile", but most students frequently score high in 3 of the nine specific intelligence domains. 

The filter for distortion takes place when the student becomes more focused on logistical issues than the content. 

I learned that some of the best people to talk to about stress elimination techniques are fellow faculty members. 

I learned that stress is conflict between our goals and our capabilities. 

I learned in this lesson that the best words for leading an essay question is:  define, identify, describe, and evaluate. 

I learned that: "you can make choices that allow you to strike a healthy balance between giving time to yourself and giving time to others."
