Teachers must have the attitude that "time is of the essence" when dealing with suicidal students. 

Amazingly, 59% of U.S. teens have been bullied on-line. 

Anyone can prevent a suicide. 

Triggers can be anything that reminds students of traumatic experiences. 

Adolescents who experience trauma handle it differently 

Trauma is not just caused by physical harm.

I learned about 4 types of trauma: acute, chronic, complex and vicarios;  I will attempt to recognize triggers that my students display and react accordingly. 

I have learned about reporting to the Childhelp National Abuse Hot Line.
