I am a Nursing Simulation Instructor. What I have learned from this ED104 course reinforces what I have been doing as a simulation facilitator. For one, pre- briefing activities like reading materials, visual teachings and review exercises set the tone and direction of what the students can expect with me and our classes. I brief them too on our sim activities based on their lecture syllabus and I discuss with them what is expected when they simulate, utilizing the QSEN core competencies for evaluation.
