Being honest and transparent with perspective students is so important! I also learned that if a student plans to transfer schools, it is up to each institution to decide if the credits will transfer to their school.

The Triad of Regulations work together to make sure that educational institutions are meeting certain criteria and benchmarks in student success rates as well as job placement rates.  I also learned that even though the University is accredited through a regulating body to receive Title IV funding, certain programs still have to go through state accreditation for licensure or certification.

I learned that it is very important to remain organized through the admissions process such as having a checklist and keeping the file a certain way to assure it is done correctly

Giving the correct and full information and should follow all guide lines.

Knowing the importance of the State and Federal laws is very important.

Regulations and transparency must be congruent with company policy.

It takes an institution/organization and those working within it to have similar values in order to create a mutual bond of trust that leads to even higher levels of unity. This is welcoming to students and allows them to thrive in a culture of compliance.

Regulatory Triad is something new to me as I have been in higher education for years. It allows the school to have structure and the importance of each of the separate regulations.

I have learned that badges and user numbers should not be used as access elements for accessing information, and that each student should be duly authorized to have access to their information, that there are only exceptions such as emergencies and minors.

Building a foundation of trust is important because it bridges the gap between confusion and understanding. Compliance is all about respect and setting forth the companies expectations.
