Keeping Up with Changes

Discuss what methods are used to keep you informed about changes at your institution that affect your job in the admissions department. What could make this process more effective?

Changes which affect my job may be communicated through emails, meetings, updates to SOP, and through casual conversation. The effectiveness of these forms of communication may be increased through implementation of methods of ownership. One example would be the requirement of checking off on any documents pertaining to changes. This could be done through signatures on new policy or summarizing intent and details of new information through verbal communication.
