Observing how individual students learn will help in planning for each class individually.

Staying mindful of students self talk and using kind words will help their motivation.

Being an effective communicator is important for students to understand that they can come to you with questions. Assisting students through navigating online courses is helpful. Using nettique when using online platforms should be done consistantly.

This module has been effective in describing alternative way students learn.

Technology in the modern world is a fast process and must be maintained at an average process. The current trends of emojis can be misdirected and misunderstood. Keeping up with new processes that work for online learners is important. Self motivation and writing skills are as important as virtual collaborations.

Students having the flexibility to complete work in a self directed approach can help with individuals personal life.

This module has taught me that the learning process of giving students the answer to a question first and allowing them to back track and use the process similar to a jog saw puzzle to understand the why. This is a process that makes the students think critically.

This module has brought to my attention that even with online learning there can be peer engagement and support. Weekly announcements can review the expectations and give active learners the chance to self direct if they want to.

Active learning has a place in today's educational experience. With the advent of online courses and a new generation of online learners going back to basics is critical. In learning how to work with peers students are able to engage and work together. The reflections and peer responses are are great way to learn to communicate respectfully.

Comment on Meaghan Harvley's post: I agree allowing students the chance to work in groups has helped with the overall concepts on some topics.
