I've learned that students will be more motivated if they have autonomy in the learning process.

I learned to make notes about a lecture after it occurs that way I can ascertain what worked and what needs improvement.

Understanding that there will be a certain amount of missed assignments so that I am not disappointed or frustrated with them or myself.

I really was keen on the idea of listening more and showing the student that you care and understand their feelings. This helps them know that they are people and not just a warm body filling the seat.

I have learned how to better control my classroom through effective techniques that can be applied to each individual learner. This will help to keep my studentss better engaged in the learning process.
