Ribrics should be fair and accommodate all my students. 

Students can take part in creation and they can assess each other. That is a great way for them to learn from each other. 

Both students and teachers are able to use rubrics to make improvements.

Peripheral learning is imporant and helps with retnetion.

Better ways to respond to negative behavior. Respond in a positive form rather than negative.

There is not just one way to assess. Students can even assess each other. 

Alternavie ways of contact due to lack of technology is important. I give them a number to call but need to make sure I tell them to save it just in case they nare not able to get online. I was remined about chunking and how important it is for our students who have so much going on in their lives. Being able to do a little here and there makes a difference.
