I am so happy for find out how to convince a student to stay in school. I often wondered why a student would quit school in the final day. Now I know. I hope this information helps me to save the future of an Academic Stagnation student.
My school talks about retention all the time, but it never donned on me the importance of it until I took this class. I thought it was the job of the admission staff and financial aid staff. Boy was I wrong. Now I know I am suppose to ask questions about retention fixes. I like this class so far.

This is a fun and exciting group, They need more hands on and comupter involvements. In order for Veterans or Boomers to teach this group, they have to be will to try activities that are not familiar to them in order to succeed as a generation Y instructor.
Today it is easier to teach the generation Y's because everythig uses some kind of technology and I'm was born with the generation x"s so I'm quite comfortable using technology.

Generation Y seems to be the easiest to understand. The Veterans and Generation X is next. I need to learn the Babyboomers.

This is a module I would recommend to other instructors, no matter how long they have been teaching. I have been teaching for 15 years and I got so much from this module that I had forgotten about. The reminders in this module really brought back a lot of stuff.

It's amazing how we spend so much time in a classroom teaching using these methods to get the student to understand, and we never really think about the technical terms until we see it again then all of a sudden it becomes a light bulb. I had forgotten all about Extrinsic and Intrinsic until I started this lesson

I will be using more reubrics now that I know what it does.

Rubrics comes in handy if you have a list of things you need the student to do for one project.
