Martha, I agree. In addition, lesson plans also (indirectly) create an expectation for students to reciprocate the organization that is initiated from their instructor. If students perceive that their instructor is very organized with their plans, it may have an impact on their approach to class preparation. Tremayne Simpson

Erin, I agree. As I mentioned earlier in the post, the wording of the objective needs to succinct and measurable. Instructors may have to provide interpretation for their students, in cases where they are not able to change the course learning objectives (standardized courses). Tremayne Simpson

Dixie, This is a great dynamic of students. In a collaborative assigment, it would be interesting to pair the "experienced" students with the "inexperienced" students to see, how their varying opinions can be merged for the assignment.
