Asothers had mentioned the REFOCUS factor. I wasn"t aware of the concept. I tend to use it!

 If you love what you are teaching, shows the students the excitement you have in a particular field.  

As a new instructor, this section has open my eyes for many reasons. There are students from different walks in life so I will have to be creative and keep it interesting and even fun to keep students engaged.  I forget that not all people are the same, and learn on different levels.  

I have learned that I am only human. I keep 11 weeks of lesson plans, that helps me stay on track. 

I have all these students they discribed, and is very frustrating at times.  I like the colored card concept and going to try it!

Be very clear and understood before moving forward with your expectations. Be open to any questions and discussions. I wasn't aware of the WIIFM concept but, it makes perfect sense.
