 Retention has often been overlooked.  Being able to retain students is vital tyo the success of any program.

Online learning courses must be designed in a to sdupport the many different potential studets that may take the course.

Discussions and quizzes are a great way to reinforce content prior to taking tests.

Content delivery is as important as tyhe content. 

Online learning is gaining in popularity and it is not going away any time soon.

Learn how to motivate students without humilating them and know your students.

As instructors, we have the responsibiloity of developing relationships with students and the responsibility of staying engaged and excited about learning throughout the course. 

This module expolred the importance of knowledge transfer, from the perspective of being able to develop rapport with students.  I will includde first day skills, greeting students for every class, and starting each class with some lightheartness.  

This module educated me on the imnportance of understanding the background of the students in your class.  Try to understand where they are coming from, where they are currently in their professional careers, and use that information to better your class.

To be an effective instructor, one must be ab;e to use various teachimg methods and provide learning in a way that is intersting to the students.
