In order to make the students successful in their education it is important to learn the characteristics of each one as an individual. This is important in order to make the required adjustments in presenting the material so they can understand it comfortably.

Retention

Class retention is an important factor for success. It is iprotant for the student to complete a course, it is important for the teacher to have the students complete the course and is important to the company. With out completion no one will ever feel stisfied or know thier true potential for education. I take it very personal if a student fails one of my courses for any reason. When a student fails I feel that I have failed the student.

Having Condence In Yourself

If you are not confident in you ablilities to teach you can have a very difficult time in gaining the students respect and desire to learn from you. You would not be the teacher if you were not qualified. Understand that and you will be a successful teacher.

Managig Students

Just as there are different learning and teaching styles there are even more personalities to deal with. In order to reach all of the students you have to be able to adapt with these. This may seem like an undaunting and sometimes impossable task but it is not really that difficult. I love the challange of changing "hats" to meet the requirements of all my students.

Student Focus

In order to keep the students focused, the course can not be presented in a boring manner.A change of pace, a challenge, or student participation are just some of the ways this can be accompished. When some new and different information is presented the students will be anxious and focus on the topics coming to them.

Student success

In order to have successful students you have to be a successful. instructor. To this you have be very versitile and be able to change teaching styles to accommodate a large variety of learning styles.It is not always easy but if you are aware of this fact it can be done and the rewards can not be measured by anything but pride!
