Yvonne, I agree. Being the role model and following the set communication rules helps the students do the same. Nice job.
Yvonne, Excellent. Knowing what communication tools work, what to use and what the students feel comfortable using is so important. Each generation is different and recognizing that is the key.
Patricia, Right on! An audience analysis is so important and communicatin is the key! Nice job.
Richard, Correct. The more others view our course or assignments and give us feedback, the better. Thanks!

Reginald, I love rubrics. I use them all the time. I just finished setting up my class which will start in January and I have all of my assignments, rubrics, etc. online and ready for students to review. I have found that I have to remind the students that the rubrics are there for them to review prior to them completing assignments/projects, etc. Thanks for you input.

Reginald, Right on! Our audiences (students) have become much more diverse and they learning needs are just as diverse. Keeping the communication clear and coherent so that anyone can understand the message, is essentis. Thanks!
Reginald, Removing any barriers is helpful to the communication process. Knowing your audience helps you do that. Thanks!
Robert, Yes, feedback from students provide great insight. I learned a lot about the student point of view when I took an online course. You certainly learn what to do and what not to do in that way. Keep asking your students for input and continue the revision process. Thanks!
Renee, Student feedback is so important. I certainly don't take anything personal. . .I just look at it as a way to continue to improve the course. Thanks for your input.
Robert, You are right. Being negative in any situation turns people off. Students need constructive criticism at times to help them grow and improve, but this can be done in a positive light as well. When feedback is connected to the learning outcomes, students see how to move forward and improve. Thanks!
