Alan, You are right. I'm a baby boomer who uses technology all the time. But, the key is to get to know our students and understand when generational issues may arise. Thanks!
Elizabeth, Me too. Communication is a key element to the success of students and delivery of content.
Laura, You use great words in describing what you need from the technology: accessible, stable, connect on multiple devices, etc. Thanks for bringing all of this to our attention.
Elizabeth, Be careful with the word "constant." You want it to be consistent, but don't become a constant, 24/7 online instructor.
ALLANA, Ah - good question. I think of my evaluations similar to how I think about them in the F2F classroom. Do they measure the learning outcomes. I think you can do evaluations effectively online whether formative or summative, it's choosing the right technologies that can assist in this evaluation to measure learning.

Jeremy, I'm not sure what you posting means. Please clarify. Thank you.

jennifer, Right on! No only acknowledge student's level of knowledge, but assess it. The delivery system is essential and it's important to know how to deliver the content effectively. Thanks!

Angela, Yes, understanding students in general is important, but when you can learn more about your students, you can adjust how you deliver content and communication with all students. Thanks!
Kimberley, Being consistent in your evaluation and helping students understand the importance of evaluation and how it relates to the learning outcomes is essential. Thanks again for your input.
Kimberley, You are using good words in your description of meaningful feedback: positive, constructive, improvement. This does develop into a win/win situation and help motivate the students. Thanks!
