William, Yes, Rubistar and other rubric makers help me remember or think about criteria that I am not currently using in a rubric. Nice job.

Rick, We may have been in the same class way back when. ;-) I have "grown up" in my teaching with rubrics as well. Just like - I used project-based learning before they named it project-based learning. Ha!

David, They do serve as a communication tool. Many don't think about rubrics or the syllabus as communication tools but they are. They communicate the expectation, learning outcomes, etc. Thanks!
