LE, Nice job. You start with your content and audience and then work toward delivering content/expectations/assignments, etc. in the best way. Thanks for the questions.

Emily , Love the welcome video idea. It's good for students to put a face with an email address. Nice job!
Emily , Every time I post an announcement, it is also automatically sends the students an email. So, I double up a bit! It works for me and the students. Thanks for your input.

Emily , Yes, we all have our challenges. Blocking the time is a good idea. We then have enough time to concentrate on something for a period of time. Nice job.

Emily , And, it's not even time management any more - it's priority management. We have to know what we must do first to stay ahead. You bring up some very good points. I think you have thought about this for awhile. ;-)
Heather, the content does play a key role in the communication process. It's good you are thinking this through. Thank you.
Jenifer, Same here. I mainly use Rubistar to look at the criteria and categories to see what I've forgotten in my rubric. It's helpful.

Heather, Yes, the rubrics help the students in a major way, but it's so nice that they help instructors too. Thanks for your comments.

Heather, We are all different whether within one generation or across all generations. Identifying those differences helps us all become better communicators and teachers. Thank you for your input.
