Robert, The celebration technique is a great idea. It may help motivate them to achieve their goals by the due dates. Nice job.
Robert, I love getting students feedback. It only improves the course and typically the interaction between students and the instructor also. Thanks for your input.

Robert, I think many students like the videos and recorded guest speakers as long as they are not too long. I try to keep everything 10 minutes or under. Thanks!

Robert, Have you tried Remind 101? You can set up a Remind 101 group, students can add themselves to the communication list and then when you send one message, it texts them instead of emails them. Many students like that. Thanks!
Robert, I also use a lot of group projects. Virtual teams are important in the work world today. It's good they get practice.
Robert, I like the "no right answer" technique. This helps students be able to defend what they say and do. This is an important technique to learn. Thanks!

Robert, It's good for the students to have options. Do you tell the students any particular order of preference? For example, do you say email and then if you don't hear anything back, call, etc.?
Robert, It's good that you keep the open communication with students know when you're in town and when you are not. I do the same when I go to conference. Thanks for sharing.

Robert, Prioritizing our lives and work can be difficult, but many times it's not about time management, but priority management. Keep up with the balancing act.

megan, Ha! I bet. The distractions can probably build up, but the flexibility to work at home sounds great. It's good you have now developed a system that works for you. Nice job.
