Craig, I look at online rubric makers many times to get ideas for criteria and to think about different categories to use in rubrics. It is nice to see how others set up rubrics. Thanks for your input.
Marie, Yes, I rubrics should be reviewed and revised often. We need to make sure they are assessing what they should be and that they are connected to the learning outcomes. Keep reviewing and editing. Thanks.
Craig, Rubrics are beneficial to students and instructors. Thanks for adding to the conversation.
Discussion Comment
Craig, Yes, when the students understand the expectations, they are more likely to achieve the learning outcomes. Rubrics help both students and instructors. Thanks.

Aubrie, Right on. Rubrics assist both students and instructors. Being more objective in grading is a good thing. Thanks.

Cynthia, Your last sentence is awesome. I like your words and they will motivate others to continue helping students to achieve. Thanks.
Aubrie, We do have to assess everything we do in our online courses. Communication is essential to assess. Thanks.
Erin, We all have technologies that work for us. I think the key is to use what works for your students, content and you. Thanks for sharing.
Annabel, Using a variety of evaluations provides you with great feedback. This feedback helps in the course revision process
Discussion Comment
Aubrie, Yes. It's good to think about the student, where they're coming from, and where you want them to go. These are all important when designing online courses. Dr. Tena B. Crews
