Eric, Simple is good sometimes. We do have to think carefully about the skills we want the students to achieve and think about how we want to get them to a higher skill level. Thanks!

Karen, A schedule and checklist can help us tremendously so that we stay on task and identify all of the things we need to do. Keep it up!
Michael, These principles give us a great idea of what all we should be thinking about as we move forward in our teaching. Thanks for your input.
John, Yes, with feedback we can revise many things included in the online course. However, rubrics are one of those things. Nice job.

John, Definitely. The review process is a ongoing thing and we have to review everything. Students and peers can give us great feedback too as we review the course.

John, I like your phrase "dig into the rubric." We do have to help the students see how the rubric can benefit them as they do the assignment. Nice job.
John, Yes, the objectives are key to the development and use of rubrics. I am thrilled you brought this up. I actually list the objectives that the rubric is connected to so students can more easily understand why they are doing what they are doing. Thanks!

John, Exactly. A great tool that can help both the instructors and students. Feedback provided to students should help them improve. Thanks for your input in this forum.
Anthony, We do have to try to understand where our students are coming from as they vary in many different ways. I too believe peer assessment is very helpful. It's a way to get more feedback to students. Thanks!
Lyn, Change is a fact of life and we do have to figure out how to focus on what we need to focus on as we move through the day. Thanks!
