Assessments are critical for understanding the students are understanding the material you are teaching.

Asking questions to open up the class to think about the subject matter will increase their understanding of the subject.

By changing the delivery method of the content, you will be able to reach the different learning styles of the students.

It is very common to worry about if we are not ready for teaching.  I guess we will just have to adapt and grow as we go along.

Building a good rapport with the students may help mitigate a lot of the issues that may arise with students.

Understanding the various types of students within each class should be the instructors first priority to allow for a tailored experience for all students.

Laying out the expectations on day 1 with a well made syllabus will allow students to understand exactly how to achieve their goals.

I like the idea of breaking the lectures up into 10-15 minute chunks so the effectiveness of the students ability to absorb the material does not drop off.

Getting to know the students on the first day will set the tone for the remainder of the class.

The key to success in teaching is all about the planning and preparation.
