Soft skills are just as important as practical skills

I learned how important evaluations are in identifying how I as an instructor are doing well or failing to do at all. I can access how the content is being presented to the students and if I've done a good job at comprehensively educating them. 

Class doesn't always go as smoothly as we'd like so always having a backup plan is essential to be fully prepared for each day. 

I learned about just how much properly organized and prepared courses can have a profound impact on the effectiveness of the course with students.

The worksheet downloads are an invaluable tool and I plan to use them immediately.  

You can be compassionate to complete strangers.  I do the same thing.  It's easy for me to want to bond with my students be there for them and I think you shoud be.  I realize now that being pals doens't work and at least for me I notice students will have less motivation to be right on time because they know we're "friends" and I won't get upset.  My attempt at building trust and a safe zonein our lcass  that they begin to to worry about being on time or turning things in late and it's completey my fault for… >>>
