Value-added assessment involves using student data to document students' growth in learning by comparing students' current level of understanding with their past learning. The act of comparing students' scores with their past scores distinguishes value-added assessment from other assessments.

An objective assessment to test where they are clearly wrong and right answers. Subjective assessment is like writing an essay.

I like the analogy that the writer used, formative assessment is like building a house, and summative is when the house is complete.

Learn and understand the technology tools before presenting them to my students and getting feedback.

Having more than one teaching style, prepare yourself for the lesson, and own your teaching plan. Set aside time for student questions. Just love what you!

Getting to remember my student's name, I like the card system or the use of a name tag. Preparing the room prior to the lecture can lower my anxiety and therefore have a calming effect on my students.

A syllabus is the blueprint for how to conduct a class and can give a clear outline of the course, helping to limit student anxiety.   Being on time for the day as an instructor prepares one for success, and it's good to write things down to alleviate stress.

I will apply it to how I carry myself and how I speak to my students. By developing my professional plan, I can stay abreast of educational trends and skills.

The first-day experience is essential for student retention. Late-arriving students should have access to information that is helpful for academic success.

Successful graduation starts from the first day of orientation. Providing students with a solid foundation.
