I learned more of what I wasn't getting regarding rubrics.

Formative assessment must be ongoing because you must constantly assess yourself and the students, in about 20 years of teaching there is one fact......no two classes are alike.

It's important to listen to students about what they felt worked.

Just being consistent and organized.

Learning and feedback are a 2 way street

Keeping students on task and current is challenging with asynchronous

Regarding Synchronous versus Asynchronous, I am not sold on asynchronous being used in all courses, for some, specifically the trades it doesn't work for all the students, they aren't as engaged.

Instructors should use a variety of technology tools depending on the course and use them to keep it interesting.

For 20 years I have had a system for doing this, course revision, if you track what you did last time you can improve it next time.

Be more in tune to continually assess students and give feedback across the board.
