As an instructor, I am responsible for the safety of my students when they are under my supervision. 

The lab is a different environment of teaching that presents great opportunities for learning if utilized effectively. 

Being able to work with students at different levels is important. 

Active learning is a great opportunity to involve students in the classroom and enhance learning. 

Being prepared and organized are important in running a class. 

Be cautious with student cheating and take action when appropriate. 

The center stage student is helpful at first but can hinder other students learning throughout the semester. The use it or lose it cards could be helpful for these students. 

An organized syllabus is important to a class and sets the tone for the semester. 

First meetings are important in the academic setting, and showing up organized and prepared goes a long way. 

Being prepared for class is important, and providing an environment conducive to learning is also important for our students.
