Activity

Shirley, I must say, I have seen a dull class before as well and have had to push myself to get through it! Shelly Crider
Helen, Oh as you should be! Online learning opens a whole new door for students! Shelly Crider
Srabasti, This is such a great post! I can tell that you are passionate about this topic...as am I!! Shelly Crider
Kimberley, Some students will feel more at ease to use material that is not their own if nobody is watching! Be a watchful instructor and make your presense known in the classroom! Shelly Crider
Kimberley, Good point about being lonely. There are times when students do feel a disconnect. Shelly Crider
Srabasti, Bottom line is cheating is bad. Students will not learn what it takes to make it in the working world. Shelly Crider
Judi, Being there for the student is so very important. The student wants to know that someone is there just for them! I am glad you are planning to be very active. Shelly Crider
syndy, Information that is easily digested does seem a little more "fun"! It is almost like tricking our brain! Shelly Crider
Bruce, Collaboration is a must for online to grow. We cannot be an expert in everything, so have people around us who are! Shelly Crider
Bruce, I like how you mentioned pointing out the excellent student. Yes, we need to keep an eye out for the slower student, but good students need that pat on the back as well. Turning in original work is a great time to convey to the student how good they are doing. Shelly Crider
