Fred, Random questions are indeed a great way to help with exams. Shelly Crider
Lisa, It does depend on the course. Some courses are fairly self-explanatory. All courses need to be reviewed and checked for spelling errors and working links. Shelly Crider
Sean , If you teach online and a traditional classroom, you could record yourself in the classroom for you online class! Shelly Crider
Lisa, Oh I so agree!!! Teach the students how and where to find resources...good resources. Shelly Crider
Sean , Good point. You can tell when a student knows the topic and when they are just reading posts to answer the question. Shelly Crider
Troy, Good point. Is there really a way to make sure the student is who they say? It really comes down to what the student will get out of the class if they do, indeed, get someone else to take their exams. Shelly Crider
Carol, Then when the student goes out and applys for a job they will say "I got my education at....." Cheating effects everyone! Shelly Crider
Fred, Different platforms will allow for different permissions for the instructor. You may be able to change the class a little to make it your own. Shelly Crider
Sean , Good point....if it is not understandable...who will read? Shelly Crider
Carol, There must be student participation. This is soft skills that are needed in the work force. Shelly Crider
