Challenging students

It is a fine line to walk with students that present challenges because they may consume a great deal of time away from the class. I try to address these students after the class is over.

Student anxiety

Students seem to relax more when they know what to expect of my course. I try to make each phase of the class clear to students so that they know what Labs are included and what presentations are included.

Wow..this course certainly applied to my environment. Many of the students are self-motivated adults and require a different approach than some of the younger students. Many of the listening skills are applied everyday in the Lab and the Cklassroom.

Accelerated learning

It seems that my students get very excited when given assignments which are an extension of the curriculum. They take pride in being involved in special projects which involve principles learned in the refinish classes.
