I have always had issues with creating a syllabus. Even when asking those I thought should know, I would get the distinct feeling they had no actual idea. Even looking it up on the Internet wasn't as helpful as this presentation.

Ensure that you stay current with your technical competencies, and always be pursuing your professional and personal competencies.

Personal goals and corporate goals need to be in alignment in order to get things done. Learning how to get that alignment is critical to this process.
