Multiple evaluations are so important because different students learn in different ways.  I have a student who is currently not doing well on her "test" but you give her a scenario and she passes it 100%.  So you know she has the content just struggles with the actual testing portion.

Providing meaniful feedback is one of my favorite things.  I feel like this time opens up communitcation between you and the student.  And when you do it appropriately then the student actually learns from what you are teaching!

I learned about scaffolding  by building on what the students know and what they learned in the last module and then adding the new stuff in.  Then repeat the process and continue to scaffold the learning.  It will provide the structue the students need to be successful.

This is the first time I've taught completely online.  So now I will be able to start building my learning modules and templates.  I now know to make them all similar and address the students different learning styles.

I don't ever want to teach a class where a student feels that they cannot participate.  I do like the discussions and use of email but it would be difficult for me if tension was created between the students during chats.

Feedback is such a hard thing to give teenagers.  They often take offense to critisim even when delivered gently.

I have always felt like it was important to get to know your students and I will continue to get to know them. Even online!

We will be the support the student has in technology!  I'm not that good with technology so I will seek answers from my support staff at school and I will learn as the students learn.
