Hi Dan, Thanks for a very deep discussion of questioning. I must say that I agree with much of what you say, however that we "control" discussion is a necessary evil as our goal is to be sure that we are able to teach the required material in what always is limited time. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan Susan Polick
Hi Michelle, Thanks for your post to the forum. I agree that ultimately our goal is to help our students be able to take the concepts that we have taught them and apply them in the field. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan Susan Polick
Hi Adam, I think it really depends on the rules of the school. Some are adamant that each student be in the classroom for the full allotted class hours. Others are more pragmatic and leave it up to the instructor. Susan Susan Polick
Hi Tim, Thanks for your post to the forum. Yes, the more positive that we can make our feedback, the better! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan Susan Polick

You could also reflect on the different perspectives you used in deciding on important causes. Did you focus on biological, psychological, or socio-cultural causes? Remember to comment on at least two other students responses. Susan Polick
Hi Stelian, Great work - moving them on to higher order thinking! Susan Susan Polick

Hi Stelian, Thanks for your post to the forum. Yes, it really is as simple as that- by combining a few delivery techniques we can reach many more of our students! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan Susan Polick
