Student engagement is a very important aspect of asynchronous learning. 

I have learned about the multiple ways to use LMS technology.

making sure that technology is working correctly is an important part of teaching with technology.

I have learned that working with different types of technology can be beneficial as each student has their own way of learning and absorbing information. Using multiple approaches increases the chances that students will understand and retain the information being presented. 

During this learning, I learned about the 4 "O"s. I also learned the F2F learning is different than the DE environment and assignments will need to be tailored to the online setting and the different learning styles for different learning styles. 

Learning in a synchronous or asynchronous environment requires the instructor to be in tuned with the different learning styles of the class. They may need to use multiple different strategies to ensure all students are able to comprehend the materials. Making sure to provide timely feedback to our students is also important to their success. 

Hi in this session I learned about the asynchronous learning and how to be successful in the asynchronous environment. 

During this teaching I have learned about the importance of using online technology tools to enhance teaching. 

There are different learning styles, combining all learning styles during course instruction is likely best to reach all students. 

Introducing yourself and allowing the students to introduce themselves can ease the anxiety they may have with starting a new class.
