Summed up very precisely!

As the instructor, ensuring you are presenting the content in a relatable fashion and then having them practice with tactile exercises the students will become motivated themselves by applying their new knowledge and experiencing the Ah Ha moment.

REFOCUS is a reminder to keep your focus on the students and keep them engaged.  Check yourself as the instructor, ensuring the appropriate material is being covered and you are on target.  Utilize a variety of teaching methods in 10-15 minutes blocks to help students not get bored, instead help to keep them learning and applying in discussions /exercises.

Learning challenges are related to neurological differences.  The students with learning challenges may struggle in an environment that does not meet their learning preference.  It is important to know if a student has learning challenges to ensure their learning style is included and to guide them where to find support… >>>
