In an e-learning environment, learners have a higher sense of comfort and security when they are convinced that someone will be there to support them. I've basically learned that in order to make my students more comfortable its best to keep an open communication also to be well organized and ready to trouble shoot with them if need be or at least know where to find the answers they need technical or otherwise.

I've learned the value of assessment to myself as the instructor and to the students. It brings a lot of insight on your teaching styles and the compression of the students.

It's important to make a good first impression, they way we should do this is by having clear expectations of the class time and breaking the ice by giving the students a little insight about myself, so they can envision my journey and motivate them on theirs. also create a bond with the students by encouraging group exercises and ice breaking techniques.

I've learned that I need to  encourage my students, make sure I build and gain their trust. There are different types of stundents and you have to be fluid in your learning theory to capture each students attention. I've also learned that if I want to be a great instuctor I should be humble visit other classes, ask for help with my teaching styles, focus on professional developement and have a plan on how to learn new information and techniques.
