Review life experience of each student including work experience, school, volunteer, etc. This information can be useful when having class discussions by drawing out these experiences.
Collatobare with everyone instructing student to ensure they know the accommodations and that they're in place.
Create 10-15 minute mini lectures while keeping in mind individuals' atention span is approximately 15-18 minutes.
Know the names of the students. Also, give them the comfort of knowing what to expect in the class. Pre-tests are helpful too.
The use of a checklist is very helpful and jotting down notes of items students have questions about that you may want to address at the next meeting if there is no time.
Be a role model. Be excited about the material you're teaching. Don't be the "smartest person in the room," for there is always someone else who is smarter!

Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
