Class 104, was very good on reflecting on my teaching style and how to improve my interactions with all students. This chapter reinforced that it is okay to make mistakes and to learn from past mistakes. Most importantly, during an exam where is the best place to position myself. How to deal with challenging students and the importance  of timely documentation.

I have learned from this that it's okay to laugh at your mistakes and to make notes. To learned from your old mistakes and be prepared for the new ones.

I have learned that following your  schools policies and documentation of all conversations are very important. When all else has failed meet with your administrator regarding steps for removal of the student from the class.

From this section I learned not to be so quick to judge. Take the time to engage all of my students . Try different teaching methods , such as group assignments..

The most important take away from this section was the importance of setting the first day and viewing it from the student's prepective. WIIFM.

This section taught me to prepare myself and be comfortable before demonstrating before the class.

I like to start the class by getting to know something about each one of my students. It allows the students to introduce themselves to their peers. It's also a great way to "break the ice" and create a comfortable environment.

As a nursing instructor, being prepared helps students be on time for work as they enter the job field. Most importantly, being prepared and knowledgeable of the topic helps with the flow of questions.

I have learned how to present myself in my appearance. Being on time and interactions with all students should be accomplished in a professional manner.
