Digital games help learners build a strong knowledge foundation by requiring concept mastery before progressing.

Gaming can be applied in online learning by integrating interactive simulations, virtual role-playing, and game-based assessments. Instructors can use platforms that support gamified learning experiences to create immersive environments where learners can apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.

Teaching Online students can be a challenge because procrastination creates anxiety.  My goal is to encourage students not to delay assignments.

Students need encouragement.  When providing feedback, online instructors should always be positive.  I will remember this when posting to students.

Students need to know that an instructor is qualified.  By providing a bio of myself that includes educational credentials, and professional experience, this goal can be achieved.

In order to be an effective online instructor, the instructor should be familiar with the delivery system and be prepared to answer student questions. To reach this goal, I go through all labs prior to assigning them to students.
