Activity

Wow, it sounds like you kept very busy in your last term Charlotte. It's good to hear you have good organizational skills to lean on during hard times.
Great strategy Alison. And yes, sometimes just a few minutes a day dedicated to you is all you need to recharge.
Pets are awesome Dorothy! And you are right, spending some time with a pet can really help reduce stress. They enjoy it too!
These are great points Tony. I actually feel that working 14 hours a day is physically demanding, even if you are just standing in front of a classroom or sitting at your desk.
I find myself surprised too Susan. I think the reason why instructors stay away from tools like blackboard is because they are sometimes hard to learn. Learning takes time and can be stressful. But those who have been willing to make the investment have a great return in the end.
Excellent! Sounds like a great plan Marilyn.
All great points Jeff! And yes, sometimes the key is to just set everything aside and hit the reset button.
This is an important point Brian! With stress, there are usually both a problem and related symptoms. Getting to the heart of the problem is a far better approach than dealing with the symptoms.
Outlines are great for students. They help them identify and refine a thesis and supporting statements prior to spending so much time writing.
I'm excited to hear about how this goes Dorothy! The short answer format really can save instructors a tremendous amount of time!
