It is crucial to understand that not reporting or supporting a victim is also unlawful and can lead to persecution of charges if it is proven that information was withehld, lied about, or worse hidden from the authorities. 

In this topic, we understand that being a reporter is part of our responsibility. We, as leaders, must uphold the law and ensure that when something is not correct or unlawful, we must act and report in order to remain in compliance and protect those in the workplace. 

It was great to learn that there are protections for women who return from maternity leave and must continue to breastfeed. In this module, we reflect and understand what is protected under the law and how this benefots all. It is a great way to better understand the environment we should be creating in the work place. 

Intrinsic and extrinsic motivators are important. These factors must be identified by the professor. It is important to understand which of these belong to each student. Being able to motivate our students in the way they respond to will be key for students to succeed in the course. 

Student autonomy and security go hand in hand. In this module, we learn that increased use of technology in the classroom means students learn on their own. This may affect the professor to step back or jump in. Either extreme is not a positive. Keeping a balance between letting students respond and engage and actively participating as a professor if key.

It is important to practice your lecture before the first time you give it. It is equally important to enagage all learning styles to maximize all students learning.

A syllabus is important and sets the tone for the entire course. Students will have the most important tool to be able to succeed in the course. 

This course reminds me that the professor must set the example for being responsible and prepared. This will set the example for students to follow.

The course has taught me to address the disruptions in class and to address them accordingly. 

The course has taught me to set clear expectations and ensure my class is organized. Students must understand the expectations, rules, and procedures in the classroom.
