I find that many of the students in my class (intro to computers) grow bored very quickly if I follow the book verbatim. To alleviate this issue we discuss how and why this is done rather than 'this is what you do" Your thoughts?

I must agree with Josh. This course really did define what the "grey" areas are and how to avoid them. I thought I had a fairly good understanding of this until I took the course. To put it bluntly: "I was schooled!"

Thanks for the response Cindy. Your emphasis on accurately is valid, but I can remember choosing my undergrad college in HS and it was all about extracurricular and greek life rather than academics. The only school that seemed to have a balance was the United States Naval Academy. But, I must remember I went to school in Florida! ;)
When it comes to recruiting. Is it fair\legal for certain schools to “flaunt” its extracurricular activities to persuade a prospective student. By this I am referring to parties, greek life, and so on…
