I'd like to be a learner in your class if all those variables are happening. Thank you for sharing your feelings.

Jumana, it is a good plan to change what activities you do based on the type of student you have.
You will be surprised how well this works. Good luck to you! I've also heard from an instructor who uses sidewalk chalk and has the students draw the structure and then trace the route of blood through the heart.
Julie, it's also a good strategy to have the students be the ones writing the summary on the white board, too. This igves them ownership of the content, so they are less resistant to learning it.

Julie, I hope this course provides you with some of the ideas you seek. It is a challenge to find ways to make all content hands on.
If we can model how to constructively give feedback on good and not so good performance in clinical, we are giving the learners life skills they will use on the job.

Diana, I find that most of my learners are visual and hands on, too.
The more variety of methods you can use, the better the results you will see.

Corey, if you involve your students with the Gen Ed content, you will find your learners engaged and interested.

Hangman is a familiar and fun approach, too.
