Assigning specific tasks is more eeftive than an all-pitch-in approach. 

It is important to conduct routine inspections to ensure safety remains at the forefront. 

While PPE is important it is not as effective as many think. It is essential to stress the importance of continued safety measures even when PPE is in use. 

I have learned the importance of a conistetn and well established safety plan. I plan to have my CTE teachers meet on a professional development day to review safewty plans to ensure they are up to date. This is important as we have added new equipment in the last several years since the plans were first created. 

CTE can provide exposure to skills and opportunities to develop career skils that can help students in all areas regarless of their career and college path. 

learn how to listen and communicate effectively with all stakeholders at varrying degrees in the change process.

Comment on Dick Jones's post: I would agree with this! Our schools do a great job of celebrating the "college bound" students but dont always recognize our career bound students. 

Our school needs more intership and capstone opportunities for students. 

A strong CTE community is one where students, staff, and community partners are enagegd in a mututally beneficial professional relationship that promotes strong CTE education and industry with in the community.

In my district I am working to connect with local small bussiness owners as well as several global companies that have recently located in our area. The goal is to be inclusive of all possible opportunties for our students.
