When learning about the admissions process within an institution, it is important to note the policies and process of the application process. We need to be able to give students/parents the proper information about our institution so it is also up to the advisor to know the institutions information, brochures, and application process throughly to provide an effective experience to those prospective students interested in the programs offered. 

In order to become a certified Florida Admissions Representative, there must be rules and regulations that are needed to follow to be effective in the workplace. There is a lot of important information that Admissions reps need to know so that they're able to do their jobs right and follow the rules as needed.

I thought this section of the course was extremely informative especially because of the detailed ways they described the different crimes and dynamics of sexual assault. It was important to also learn how a bystander can interfere with any sexual assault if they suspect that is the case. I was interested to see how a victim can be affected psychologically post-trauma and how that can also affect their reports neurobioigically due to a trauma response. Very informative!

There are many helpful and insightful requirements that come from the Title IX Coordinator position. But beyond that, it's also understanding the difference between a grievance report and a criminal report and how the processes differ depending on what's being reported, whether on campus or off campus. Grievance procedures are important because it also applied to both parties involved, they both need to have the same resources for the grievance to take place. 

I appreciate that the Title IX law also includes the possibility of an investigation even if the parties involved don't directly report it. There can be instances where people are threatened if they come forward or are too scared to come forward for any reason, this law gives those involved the opportunity to be investigated if there is probable cause. Overall, it's important to know these laws, rules, and regulations for the sake of building safer schools and workplaces.

I have thoroughly learned so much about the importance of Title IX and how beneficial it can be for employees and students, and any one who has experienced harassment within the workplace/school settings. I didn't know about VAWA and the Clery Act until this course, very insightful and helpful practices to address and avoid any type of harassment.
