There have been several references about the short time [3 weeks] faculty members have students and how it may make connections difficult. How long have you been using this system? Will its efficacy be reviewed and evaluated?
This certainly seems to be a very thorough survey. Does it cover each topic every 3 weeks? How thoughtful are the students when they complete it? Do "upperclassmen" respond more thoughtfully than new students?

Seems like a cumbersome system that could easily let students slip though the cracks. Many students won't stick around through several cycles if they have personal or financial problems. How does your system handle these situations?

What is the format for students to ask questions and share expectations? How much do you try to shape their expectations?
