Use a tactic at the beginning of the lessen specifically to gain the learner's attention. Allow time for students to solve a problem.  

What is one thing from the lesson plan that you are fuzzy about? Generate more discussion.

Effective instructors know that genuine personal interaction can improve student academic and personal lives.

The test of an effective instructor's patience is to react appropriately to the offbeat  and even bizarre statements made by students  on an almost daily basis.  Take in stride.

Our passion should be linked to a higher level purpose that connects us to greater meaning in our everyday efforts.  This is motivating. As a educator, I would like to cultivate hope in the form that we can always get better.

Allow the student to leverage their unique strengths to create a plan that is aligned with the student is and to bring their best self to problem solving and solutions itself.

Our relationships with coworkers, leaders and groups and communities can provide meaningful interaction and identity congruence.  

Be mindful to identify the defining elements of human virtues and strengths.  Cultivating positive emotions is my goal and discussing the importance of accomplishment and progress for individual well-being is key.

To enjoy the advatages of our national diversity, it is important that educators seeks as many facts and consider as many issues as possible to enhance their ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse groups.

It is important to assess students’ internship experiences to make sure that learning objectives are being met, that students’ experiences are consistent with the program's mission, and that the expectations of on-site supervisors and future employers are being considered. The goal is to facilitate the transition.
