About me

I started cosmetology school at the age of 16, attended full time and have been licensed since 17yrs old. I will be turning 35 this year and decided its time to teach these skills to others who have the passion to advanced in the cosmetology industry. I educate my clients while im working with them and I continuously hear what a great teacher I would be. This has fueled my desire to be an educator.

I am very excited to take these courses because it is giving me the tools and knowledge to direct each student throughout their entire enrollment, right up to graduation. I feel more confident that I will run a proficient and awarding program for all faculty and students at my institution.

Activity

Its hard to sit here and claim to have the knowledge to share and help anyone become a success. I will say, I practice INTEGRITY everyday not only with work, but in my everyday life. Being respectable and having the knowledge to communicate and educate has been and will be a life long task. I know you can never obtain enough knowledge, and there will always be UPDATES lol!

Knowledge is power.

Great Quote

Im so glad to have watched this! I believe by inviting my students into a running operative salon produces the perfect platform to study and learn by direct observation and being involved while studying their theory requirements. Observing actual situations along with the courses being studied provides the "hands on" experience which make the program more exciting for the students. They feel active and involved which feeds their passion and fuels their drive :)

I think one thing that is important  to students is the accurate calculation of refunds. Its important to go over each section to make sure they are fully aware how this policy is applied. I appreciate the regulations behind the policy as it gives a fare guide to follow.

Are the transcripts part of the enrollment agreement?
Upon exiting and needing documentation of credits, is this a simple form developed by the institution?

Is this as simple as developing an association where graduates that choose to are kept on file and continue correspondence about the relative program and job placement etc...?
Would a fire safe, lockable file cabinet serve as a secure place to store confidential documents. Would using a back up hard drive be recommended?

What forms would I need to be able to offer a scholarship. I would love to help young under privileged students at my institution. I was lucky to be able to take the Cosmetology course at such a young age and it has developed into a great career. Erica Drew - The Institution of Advanced Styles
