Maintaining the idea of the employer's ROI is crucial to gaining meaningful relationships, and that can look different depending on the employer. I also appreciated ROI suggestions on a Career Services level, as that department may not always have the ability to push forward with creating new programs or offering equipment, etc. 

I appreciated about identifying where the employer is in the continuum, and how intuition and constant relationship building is necessary and will not always be a one size fits all. 

I have learned of how to mitigate objections when they come and not look at this as a failure, but as an opportunity to better meet the employer's needs to establish a partnership 

 Identifying what kind of resources our school can offer employers is an excellent way to start planning how to reach out to employers. 

A lot of our students exhibit passive coping when approaching their job search, often getting locked up in the fear of a negative outcome. The fear setting worksheet and the goal visualization worksheet provided at the end of this module will be an excellent tool to help guide the students into a more proactive frame of mind. 

I will absolutely be using the circle of influence to help guide my students. Understanding what they can control and building confidence in that "circle" can help them feel empowered to move on to more challenging "circles". Excellent visual!

Three Good Things is an excellent way to get someone in a negativity bias on the right track. I will be using the worksheet and the mentality with my students who seem stuck in what hasn't been working for them, and try to enforce the elements that have positively impacted them and made them stronger for the next interview, etc.

Identifying controllable and uncontrollable factors of the career search and growth and understanding where to focus is a huge asset. I will be using these ideals to help support my students and focus their mindset on what they can control and how to take action in their search. 

I learned some strategies for writing out job descriptions to be detailed, as well as the benefit of providing a case note model to improve consistency.

I learned that applying a workflow process can improve the consistency of documentation while reducing errors.
