Multiple evauations are needed to ensure all stakeholders (instiution, faculty, and student/consumer) are satisfied with the educational program.

 

Feedback is a great tool to tell the learner that what they are doing is great or needs work. The rubrics allows the teacher to grade against what was expected and listed in the rubric. it gives structure to grading

 

I like the idea of providing meaningful feedback in a variety of media. Video feedback is an option I would have never thought about using. 

 

i like the process of building on what the student already know and continuing that processthey continue to learn new skills. the process is called scaffolding. Thanks for the new terminology

 

Be consistient in course content and learn how to modify it to make it easier to navigator for the user. It will make for a better student (learner) environment.

 

Make sure the email is adressing something that is personal to one particular student and not a frequently asked question that should be opened to the public (or class).

 

Learning the difference between synchronous and asynchronous. Students in a one on one setting can utilize asynchronous and synchronous is more essential in large group settings of less than 40 students

thw same rules apply the in class room experience as it dones in the online experience. Projecting your presence gives students the information they need to trust the professor is an expert in the field they are teaching. 

Familiarize myself witht the information and the CMS. Know how to post announcement, how to grade students using the system and how to keep feedback the discussion on track. Communicate effectively and answer questions students may have
